More progress. After filling the largest holes with cement (mentioned in part 2), Pim added another layer, a self-levelling cement, to create a really flat and level surface in order to place long tiles with no problems. Worked a charm! He expected to need further corrections, but one layer was level. tiling then proceed, and these go fast. There’s a bit of grouting done last weekend, and the rest is for next weekend, and beyond, since then our “staycation” starts. I foresee lots of kitchen in those two weeks 😉
