Our living room is a long and narrow caterpillar divided in three sections. Particularities of old row houses! The entries for these three rooms are still all grouped under “living” since we still haven’t gotten around to the details.
The last bit is as wide a room as can be in our rowhouse, and the living proper since our TV and sofas will live there (sad that this seems to be the determining factor)… eventually.
I think this room has always been a kitchen in the past. In the years when the house was a rental, it had some ill-fitting kitchen cabinets recycled from another home.
We are building a new kitchen at the back of the building, where in olden times there were washrooms and stables. Once finished we can scrap this kitchen and finally move our living furniture into the room!
